Another year has passed and I have not written a blog post for a year. It is 1st January 2026 tonight and my blog came into my mind and that I really enjoyed blogging and writing about different things. The world is a very different place from how it was when I wrote my last blog post. I seem to have a lot to say about things lately.
I had time to look at my blog tonight and I decided to return to writing again.
I made this painting last year after the Sydney New Year's Eve fireworks. This year's fireworks in Sydney was even more spectacular. I was happy to have this painting from last year to welcome 2026 with it on social media. Painting and drawing brings joy to me, that's one thing. However, my friends seem to enjoy seeing artworks popping up on their walls so I am quite happy to share my work for their enjoyment, too.
A new year brings a chance to forgive, to do better, be better, give more, love more. Happy New Year in 2026!
